Free business counseling is offered for those business people who need one-on-one assistance. Counseling is available for all areas of business including, but not limited to, business planning, marketing, government procurement, record keeping, business law, financing strategies, taxes, manufacturing, franchising, and retailing.

Maria Becerra is a self-employed business consultant specializing in business development training. She has extensive experience in community economic development, commercial financing and entrepreneurial training programs. Maria has worked as a program manager for non-profit community financial institutions, and as a small business consultant & workshop presenter for the City of Long Beach and the Small Business Development Center. Maria has also provided consultant services to home child care centers in business management and completion loan applications submitted to the County of Los Angeles.
Maria earned a B.A. in Liberal Arts from CSULB and a certificate from UCLA in Management for Child Development Professionals.
